the beautiful music that the gypsies make with their harmonicas is ignored by all of us metro riders. eye contact with the musician means he will demand that you pay him. its sad that the beautiful harmonies must be ignored. we all look unimpressed and disinterested. is everyone really imagining a grand spanish fiesta filled with flamenco dresses and bottles of sangria and smiles or is it just me?
(my above said interest in the metro is a direct result of having grown up in los angeles, the city with no contact aside from car accidents)
